Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A55. It brings the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17). This marks the end of the new software's beta program, which lasted almost a month and a half, during which the phone received three beta updates.
The phone's units in the brand's home country, South Korea, seem to be the first to get it. While there's no information on the update's size, it carries firmware version A556SKSUBEZJ1 (via Tarun Vats).
Based on Samsung's software update rollout history, the company should release the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A55 in other countries over the next few days. One can check its availability and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
After installing the update, you should notice multiple changes and upgrades. For starters, you will see that some UI elements have a slightly more refined design. In addition to that, you should also explore more customization options for Quick Panel, enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features, and a location privacy indicator.
